The Jin Feng, also known as the Golden Phoenix durian, is a pale yellow-white durian. It has a smaller seed than most white durians. But has a surprisingly complex solid taste; the Golden Phoenix durian has a flesh texture that’s dry and thick, producing a mild alcohol flavour that soaks in your mouth. The amount of flesh you get with a tiny seed is entirely worth it.
