Hallabong has become the representative fruit of Jeju island. When you take a trip to Jeju, it’s almost a given to buy a box of Hallabong and to peel and munch on it throughout your trip. The tangerine is large and its flesh is very sweet and soft. Many Koreans love Hallabong because its juice is sweeter and contains more Vitamin C than regular tangerines or oranges.
